Talks and workshops about trans and disability inclusiveness.

Freelance

I am available to run talks or workshops on a variety of LGB+, trans, and disability/neurodivergent issues and topics. My workshops usually involve talking through issues and/or learning a new relaxing activity (such as knitting, sowing, or zine/art making) in a non-judgemental accommodating space. If you want to host these events for free I'm generally happy to run these with expenses paid only.

I also run Zine Workshops for anyone, teaching you what is "zine" and how to make them.

I can also run talks or workshops for cisgender, heterosexual, or abled/non-disabled people about making your events, business etc more accessible and welcoming. For these kinds of events I would charge a fee depending on how long and in depth the talk or workshop needs to be, as well as charging expenses. For these I can specifically run talks on:

"What is Trans?" based on my recent publication, I go through the basics of what transgender is and how you can be more accommodating to those people in your everyday life
How to make your workplace or business more trans-friendly - this would involve discussing with me what your business or workplace is like so I can tailor the talk to be relevant to you employees

Consultancy

We can provide consultation on making the stuff you do inclusive to transgender and neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, dyspraxia etc) people. We can read text including transcripts, leaflets, fiction, non-fiction and anything else you can think of. This service costs £9 per 600 words.

We can also come and meet you to discuss a project, your workplace, or anything else you would like help keeping inclusive. This service costs £9 an hour, or a lump fee can be agreed for bigger projects.
